What happens to wicked people who are dead when the end-times come ? will they pay for their crimes?

these people who lynched black people in america, owned and maltreated slaves in america, the KKK who terrorised lots of black people, the people whoowned the slave ships, those who were slave catchers, those who committed all kinds of unspeakable attrocities against black people in america. of course they are dead now. but these were wicked and evil people. will they pay for their deeds or are they forgiven because they are dead ?
