Non fiction texts about the KKK?

A book I read was Notre Dame versus the Klan. It primarily (as the Title says) about a riot between Notre Dame students and KKK members, but it gives a history of the KKK from its begining to its demise with its focus on the KKK's resurgence in the twenties(it also gives a history of Notre Dame). I don't remember the auther.
